Quelle place pour la langue de spécialité dans la formation des futurs spécialistes en disciplines scientifiques ? Exigences de terrain et enjeux linguistiques/motivationnels

Abstract : This article is based on the experience of teaching/learning French as a foreign language in the Italian High School. It focuses on experimental and motivational issues - related to Tech/Scientific French - carried on by a task-oriented perspective involving LV2 students to improve their language learning. The research was conducted according to the "action research methodology" [Nar 2005]. The results of a preliminary survey are first analyzed to underline the need of introducing students to language for specific purposes since High School. The final report is given with specific references to some of the most innovative and appreciated tasks. The perspectives issued by this research show how ICT leads to acknowledged achievements and relevant language skills.
